MISSION
To further the appreciation and preservation of the history and
culture of Fairbanks
GOAL
To provide exhibits of the history and culture of the Fairbanks area
that are educational, entertaining and enlightening for residents
and visitors, with emphasis on school age children.
PURPOSE
The Fairbanks Community Museum is organized for the following
purposes:
- Dissemination of educational information through the
display of historical and cultural items from the Fairbanks
area - Preservation of historic items
- Promoting appreciation of local, and Alaskan history
- Revitalization of Fairbanks core area
